To my parent's generation, everything that they were told was wrong is happening, and for my generation everything we grew to understand as possible seems to be at our finger tips. My parents worry about this new guy, who's actual been in politics and on the far left for longer than I've been on this Earth. Nevertheless, to them, Bernie Sanders is a socialist and socialism has been to their generation the epitome of evil and the disruption of what our government and constitution hopes to uphold. Like most people my parents do not live under a rock, but they remain staunch Independents, and that is their right. They see socialism as an overwhelmingly large government that will consume private property, worth, and the very freedoms that make up our constitution. I agree with that assessment.
